On June 15, 1984 at the 11th anniversary party of the Hole in the Wall, Doug Cugini introduced the charter membership in what was to become a five-year-long tradition of recognizing those patrons who exemplified the growing family of vital characters proud to call this tavern ours and honoring them with their portraits hung on its walls. This idea of Doug and mine resulted in 108 portraits all told. Herein are contained 101 of the original portraits and 4 substitutions of the subjects I portrayed for other occasions. Paper or digital copies of the three that remain missing would be appreciated, for completion of this collection.

Each portrait comes with a snippet of my favorite recollection of the subject and or an excerpt from their induction speeches to be seen by clicking on the HISTORY tab below. Clicking the UPDATE? tab will enable you to add your own memories and updates to this nebulus compilation. Unless you include your name, to be included with your contribution, I cannot post it on the web site for all to read.
